Cervical Cancer Site Launched


More than 70 percent of cancer patients who come treatment seviks already in an advanced stage and little chance of recovery. This was due to a lack of community pehamanan of the disease and lack of initiative of the doctor to recommend a cervical cancer prevention.

In Indonesia, 37 women diagnosed with this cancer every day and 20 women died of this disease. Vaccination is primary prevention of cervical cancer. Early detection with a pap smear or IVA is a function of secondary prevention to detect abnormal cells or precancerous lesions.
